ELPO was founded in 2022 by Mohamed Essam, who was born with optic nerve atrophy in one eye—a condition that gave him a lifelong, personal understanding of the barriers faced by people with disabilities. Instead of letting it limit him, he transformed that challenge into purpose. ELPO stands as a reflection of his belief that technology can empower, restore independence, and ensure no one is defined by their condition. It’s a mission for dignity, inclusion, and lasting impact.
