Cancer Trials Ireland is Ireland’s leading cancer research trials organisation, enabling, supporting, and overseeing hundreds of trials involving thousands of patients. Since Eibhlín Mulroe joined as CEO in 2015, the staff has doubled, a new biometrics division has been established, and a multi-annual funding model has been implemented. Eibhlín is a driving force for bringing new trials to Ireland, particularly in pancreatic cancer. She previously worked in political and patient advocacy roles.
