I learned so much on the sports field, my skills are transferrable. Whilst the sports, entertainment and tourism industries were greatly affected by COVID-19, their re-activation has been incredibly strong, and Global 13 even found positive outcomes from the Covid-19 pandemic, including the adaptation to remote working – which has allowed the team to be well positioned for the future. As an incredibly ambitious CEO, Jason is developing the foundations to expand the business into new markets and territories. One market it is specifically targeting for growth is the Middle East, and he tells us the rationale behind this. “We already do the majority of our work in the region, and we see the enormous potential across several key sectors including sports, entertainment and culture” he explains. “Also, our Global Beach Sports concept is a key focus for us in 2023. The free-to-attend event aims to promote health and fitness amongst the community and activate coastal towns.
